secrets
Friends forever we’ve always been,
through every bend and bind.
“Friends forever,” that’s what we claim,
like the others, so sweet and kind.
Late at night, tucked in our beds,
dark whispers soft but violent.
The phone lines scream like rays,
lightning, crackling, yet so silent.
Secrets we swore to never tell,
Precious hearts so proud and true.
Sweet gossip yet did break those bonds,
Now enemies forever, cold and blue.
