Music and Oscar
Original Score: What I loved about the music from Munich was that it was subtle when it had to be, yet powerful at those moments when you knew everyone in that movie theater was squirming with you. I chose Geisha, but I wouldn't be surpised if Brokeback wins it's first award here. Gee, I should have gone with my gut. Brokeback begins with the sweep. I really need to see this movie.
Maybe it's just me but it seems wrong to have the music from "The Lord of the Rings" playing during the tragic scenes of "Titanic." I could just be used to Horner's music.
Sound Mixing: Go "King Kong" Woo-hoo.
So here comes the break. The special award to Robert Altman. Streep and Tomlin are hysterical.
