A day in the life of: TV round up
I can honestly say I'm busy, and September just seems to never end. It can continue to truck on just for me, thank you very much. Let's see, I'm teaching Spanish, which allows me to correct the balance a bit. If I hear another parkiar from a San Antonian I think I may have to hire my own lawyer after I run that person over with my scooter. ::cringe::
Anyway...
I still haven't finished watching all the tv shows I taped (downloaded) from this week. Some of the new shows are intriguing, and some are just there. I love "Threshold" and found myself having to tape it and watch it Saturday during the day. That show is just too freaky! Of course I still haven't seen episode #2, but I'm working on it. I was also intrigued with "Supernatural" because of the dynamic between the brothers, but seriously, did they have to name one of them Dean? Confusing! Especially since the younger one was named Dean previously on "Gilmore Girls." It's taking time to get used to, but I'm enjoying the show. I can't say the same about "Invasion." I might give it the 3 episode try, or I might not. Same with "How I Met Your Mother," which felt forced to me. Don't get me wrong, I love Aly! And she was wonderful in the pilot. I guess that comedies with laugh tracks aren't my thing, and I say laugh tracks because on the other side is "Kitchen Confidential" and I loved it! I'm also watching "Bones" and "House" and "Rome" and well with "Veronica Mars" starting this week along with "Boston Legal" and I want to check out "Close to Home," well, methinks the 3 episode rule is out the door!!
