Picking on BT

* on the web @ 20:12

Here we go again.

So Sith was leaked online a few days ago by someone on the inside, ie. the studio did it. This of course cause a chain reaction, and now there are a bunch of idiots out there downloading the movie, or actually selling it. Have I mentioned I'm completely and utterely against the selling?

In the meantime it looks like Sith will make back its money and tons more. Seriously, the whole spiel about "pirating breaks the movie industry" makes me want to dig out the violin from storage and play some depressing song. Oh, wait. I can't play the violin.

Now the MPAA has released an "official" statement. Yes, bittorrent is evil. It's p2p. It makes people steal. It must be destroyed! Rowr!! Etc, etc, etc.

People steal, not software. Next.

Anyone else think it's funny that the google ads on your site are now prompted by the past few messages about pirating into putting up ads for the very thing Nimsay hates? "STOP THEFT PROTECT YOUR SOFTWARE LIEKOMGWTFR2D2!!1!!ONE!!"
